Dr. Justin Amase

Dr. Justin Amase, is a transformational manager, development policy, and finance and investment advisory expert, who doubles as the Finance and Investment Advisor. He holds a B. Sc. (Hons), and M. Sc., Economics from the University of Jos, and a PhD in Economics at the University of Abuja. Dr. Amase studied at the prestigious Manchester Business School, Manchester, England for his Global Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Global Financial Management. He served on the economic team of President Buhari as the Head of Secretariat overseeing the Policy Analysis and Technical Team in the Presidential Economic Advisory Council/Office of the Chief Economic Adviser to the President. Dr. Amase is a former State Commissioner, who also represented his state government on various national engagements and committees such as the Nigerian Infrastructure Masterplan and National Information Council. He has over 25 years’ experience in the Nigerian banking and finance industry during which he served as Special Assistant to three bank Managing Directors, bank branch manager, regional manager and divisional head in various Nigerian banks. He also chaired the bank recapitalization team and bank merger team. In addition, has consulted widely for the Nigerian governments at Federal and State levels in strategic policy and development planning, for private sector organisations, as well as for international development partners such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and United Nation’s Development Programme (UNDP). He is active in public policy advocacy in the print, electronic and online media, as well as through local and international conference participations.
